Screen displays the option to create a new customer account.
To create a new account:
Login > tap New Account. In the New Account screen, you can optionally enter the following details:
Customer Type: Tap to select Residential or Commercial.
Customer Name: Enter the customer's First Name and Last Name.
Contact Details: Enter the Email (optional) and Contact Number.
Note: Tap to include an additional contact number.
Tap Next.
Location: Enter the placement location of the panel.
Address: Select the customer's country and then enter the Address and City. Tap to select the State and enter the Zip code.
Dealer's Reference ID: Enter in the reference ID of the dealer.
Enter information such as Sold By, Installed By, Contract End Date and Notes.
Panel Type: Select the type of panel from the relevant panel family.
Panel Revision: Select the panel revision type.
Communicator Type: Select either Ethernet or Cellular type.
Ethernet/WiFi MAC: Enter the relevant MAC.
Ethernet/WiFi CRC: Enter the relevant CRC.
Note: Tap to include an additional communicator.
Alarm Reporting Number: Enter the account's City-CS-Sub ID.
Tap Next to verify based on valid and unassigned City-CS-Sub and MAC ID.
Once the verification is successful, you can select the default Configuration Template for the panel.
Select the required package from the Select Package drop-down menu.
Enable the required add-on features from the Add-Ons section.
Following are the add-on features available:
Two-Way Voice (For all the packages): Enables two-way communication between the control panel and the Central Station.
Video Alarm Verification (only for Smart Security and Smart Home packages): Enables Central Station to log on to the Total Connect camera and verify the alarm credentials
Video Service (only for Smart Security and Smart Home packages): Based on the selected service level, the video clip from the camera is retained.
None: Select to disable the video service. Disabling the video service deletes all the video clips and you will no longer have access to the video service module.
7 Days: Select to enable the video service for a maximum of 7 days. The video service deletes the video clips that are older than 7 days.
Pro Lock (non-billable feature and available for all packages): Enable this feature to password protect your panel. You should click Generate Validation Code and enter the password in the panel to access.
HomeKit (non-billable feature and available for all packages): Being enabled by default, this option allows you to securely control all your devices, individually or as groups. HomeKit is Apple's framework for home automation. You can use HomeKit to integrate products such as lights, speakers, thermostats, plugs, sensors, locks, and so on, with Apple's iPhone and iPad.
Note: The HomeKit option is available only for Lyric panels.
Tap Next. For Smart Security and Smart Home packages you should have a TC account to avail all the features.
In the TOTAL CONNECT 2.0 screen:
Account Type: Tap to select New Account or use an Existing Account.
TC2 Account Name: Enter the name for the account.
TC2 Master User Name: Enter the login ID of the master user.
TC2 Master User Name: Enter the E-mail ID of the master user.
Note: Tap to Enable User Code Management.
Panel Master Code: Type the master code of the panel. This code is available on your panel.
Enter ZIP: Enter the ZIP code of your location.
Language: Tap to program a user-friendly language for the application.
Time Zone: Tap to set the time zone.
Date Format: Tap to set the format for the date.
Time Format: Tap to set the format for the time.
Tap Next.
Tap to select the relevant notifications or all notifications and tap Next.
The message indicating the successful creation of account appears. You can tap View Account Overview to access the account overview page.
